It might sound crazy, but there are some people who become so passionate about certain video games that they decide to dedicate their free time and their technical skills to creating new games as a sort of homage or tribute to their favorites. Sometimes, the versions created by fans can even be better than the original games that we all have such fond memories of. This isn’t necessarily the case for Mario Kart 360, but it is a game that will keep you entertained for a good long while, despite a few technical deficiencies.
The star feature of Mario Kart 360 is its bird’s eye view camera, which lets you see the races with an aerial view to get a fun and very different perspective of the game. Just like the original, you can play with the usual characters and compete on the 16 classic race tracks that the fan developers have recreated for you. Within the game, you’ll also find four different competitions distributed over the different tracks. The game also includes a multiplayer mode.
Mario Kart 360 retains the classic essence of the original and brings it to your PC. It’s free, so if you’re a fan of Mario Bros video games, there’s no reason not to give it a try.
